Assorted Illinois Central Gulf cars in maintenance-of-way service were parked along the SHORE LINE BRANCH while the line was being rehabilitated. The tower was used to store cement which was unloaded from covered hoppers and then reloaded into trucks for delivery to a nearby concrete plant. |
