Nice lash-up of New York Central E8A's #4037 & 4073 waiting for their next assignment as they sit in a Toledo yard. The stamped date on the slide reads 4/1/1975 but no renumbering or repainting have been done to these locos yet and it is nearing the end of the Penn Central life. Robert M. Rose slide

Tom Beckett General This would have to be prior to April 1975. by then, any passenger trains on this line would have been Amtrak. The Lake Shore was reinstated about this time, don't recall the exact date. I would guess this was some time in the late 60's. 5/14/2019 6:03:15 AM
