Here is page 12 of a 30-page booklet published by the Pennsylvania Railroad entitled "Modern Locomotives And Cars: 1939." Depicted here are PRR engines #4179 and #6556. Both were built in Juniata. Engine #4179 is a B-6SB (0-6-0) switcher built during March of 1924 and retiree in 1955. Engine #6556 is a C-1 (0-8-0) switcher built in May of 1925 and retired in January of 1949. |
