It appears the old SAL-SCL/CG-NS interchange track at Arlington is being cleared and readied for use. It has been several years since this track was used and now serves as an interchange between the GSWR and NS. I am not sure what would prompt it's return to service but not only was it being cleared, many new ties were being installed also. The NS line to Albany is at the left. The GSWR mainline crosses the NS mainline at the foot of the hill seen in the pic while the interchange track provides a connection between the two roads. |
