Update Feb 28, 2006 - This picture has been up a while, but I had thought this SAL beauty was going to come down in favor of the infamous Darth Vader signals that have invaded over the CSX system in recent years. This signal was out of commission, but now proudly serves rail traffic, albeit not much, again after the FRA forced Amtrak to restore signals between Southern Pines and Hoffman.

Carter Buchanan	General	I believe it is back on. At the time, I think it was only a certain stretch that was out, but do not recall. With lots of signals replaced on the S line between Columbia and Hoffman with the new equipment and standard CSX signals, I am rather curious how far north it has gone.	4/10/2016 3:14:18 AM
